About This Event / イベントについて
ACN presents Yoyogi Forest of Lights opens Friday 13 November 2026 and runs through Monday 11 January 2027, a public holiday. Lights 17:30-22:00. Last entry 21:00. The course is the cycling-course area of Yoyogi Park, 2-1 Yoyogikamizonocho, not the Event Plaza lawn used for weekend food festivals. Organiser: Yoyogi Forest of Lights Executive Committee. Special partner ACN Group. Official card Mastercard. Supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It is listed as a Yoyogi and Shibuya highlight of ARTE TOKYO.
You walk about 1.8km through 17 named zones. Entry is a timed 30-minute window from 17:30 to 20:30. The last window, 20:30, is sold only until 20:00. Stay until 22:00 if you entered early. A late slot shortens the walk. There is no box office in the park. Tickets are date-and-slot specific. Re-entry is closed. Rain goes ahead. Snow or severe weather can stop the night. Check the official X account @yoyogifol the afternoon you go.
TBS Ticket lists adult prices tax-in: November early bird ¥2,400, weekday ¥3,200, weekend and holiday ¥3,800, Christmas 23-25 December ¥4,600. Junior high and high school: ¥1,200 / ¥1,600 / ¥2,000 / ¥2,400. Elementary: ¥500 / ¥800 / ¥1,000 / ¥1,200. Preschoolers enter free with a guardian, two children per adult. Elementary and younger need a paying adult. Buy November first. December and January go on sale Thursday 15 October 2026 at 10:00. Lawson Ticket and TBS Ticket both sell. The 17 zones in course order: Rainbow Road, Yoyogi Illuminated, Laser Lane, Avenue of Planets, Singing Tree, Tree Spirals, Twinkly Light House, London Skyline, Floral Fantasia, Bubble Path, Lumieres Dome, Chestnut Agrow, Mystic Path, Photo Spots, Light Step Avenue, Enchanted Lanterns, Cathedral of Lights. Twinkly Light House is set to Bicycle Race. Floral Fantasia is set to Waltz of the Flowers. Named food so far: Malins fish and chips, NarraTive tea and scones. More stalls land closer to opening.
Harajuku Station on the Yamanote Line is about 3 minutes, Meiji-jingumae about 3, Yoyogi-koen about 3, Yoyogi-Hachiman about 6. Times change with which park gate you use. No event parking. No cloak, no coin lockers, no nursing room. Pets on a leash. Wheelchairs and strollers can use the whole course. No rentals. Park-wide no smoking. Bicycles stay out of the lit area. Live streaming is banned. Snapshots are fine. Selfie sticks and tripods are allowed if they do not block the path. Lights, reflectors, and stepladders are not.
