About This Event / イベントについて
The Meiji Jingu Autumn Grand Festival on November 1–3 is the shrine's biggest annual event. Bugaku court dance, kagura, Noh, and a full program of martial-arts dedications (kyudo, kendo, aikido) are performed across the three days.
The highlight is Yabusame (horseback archery) on November 3 (Culture Day) at 13:00 along the Nishi-sando riding ground. Combined with the autumn colors of the shrine forest, it's one of the most atmospheric days on the Tokyo calendar.
