About This Event / イベントについて
The Dragon Quest the DIVE exhibition at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado" commemorates 40 years of Japan's most beloved RPG series. Opened July 17, 2026 and running through September 6, the show turns Harakado's 4F MAZE gallery and 2F COVER space into the world of Alefgard and beyond.
Dragon Quest VR RIDE — the headline attraction
The centrepiece is an immersive VR attraction using Meta Quest 3 headsets paired with motion seats. Riders mount a Killer Panther, gallop across the overworld, face monsters up close and join a battle — a 360-degree thrill you can only experience on-site. Children 4–9 and guests who cannot use VR get a non-VR projection seat, so the whole family can ride.
Forty years of adventure, on display
Beyond the ride, the exhibition stages original artwork, monster bestiary panels, legendary-sword replicas and a timeline covering every mainline title from 1986's original to today. A Lawson Ticket pre-sale ran in April; same-day tickets are sold in one-hour time slots from 11:00 to the 19:00 final entry.
Limited legendary-sword pin badge set
A premium ticket tier ships a set of three framed pin badges recreating the Sword of Loto, the Sword of the Heavens and the Hero's Sword Kai — premium items exclusive to this event. They are redeemable at the venue on the day of visit.
Practical info for visitors
Tickets are date- and time-slot-specific, sold first-come-first-served via Lawson Ticket. Overseas visitors can buy online through a dedicated portal. One preschool child enters free per paying adult. August 8–18 is charged at weekend rates. The Harakado 6F food court and stores stay open during the show, so you can pair the exhibition with lunch or the KAWAII Night Market running on the rooftop Aug 20–30.
