About Yoyogi Park
Yoyogi Park is the lawn Harajuku actually uses. It opened 20 October 1967 on the old Yoyogi parade ground / Washington Heights / 1964 Olympic Village. A-district is the forest park (Yoyogikamizonocho). B-district (Jinnan) holds the track, outdoor stage, and urban sports; that slice is yoyogi-cpark.com, not the Tokyo Park Association. Entry is free. The park is always open. The service centre and some facilities close around New Year. Area 544,711 m². Dog run 3,620 m² needs the 12-park web registration. Cycling centre and a kids’ cycling plaza sit in A-district. Paid car park 65 spaces, 24 hours; weekends fill, so the park asks visitors to use the train. Festival calendars live on yoyogikoen.info (Event Plaza, Keyaki Namiki) and on the Park Association news page. Pair a morning here with Meiji Jingu. Do not type the park as a mall.
