About Onden Shrine

Onden Shrine is the neighbourhood shrine of old Onden, now Jingumae 5-chome, at 5-26-6. The torii sits a short walk west of Cat Street. Enshrined are Omodaru no Kami and Ayakashikone no Kami. The aidono kami is Kushimikenu no Kami, also known as Susanoo. Locals come for beauty, craft, and enmusubi. This is a shrine. The goshuin desk runs 11:00–16:00 with a lunch break 13:00–14:00, closed every Thursday. For October 2026 the shrine also closes the desk on 8, 16, 22, and 29. Reitaisai is 9 September. Hours live on onden.jp. Meiji-jingumae Exit 7 is about five minutes. JR Harajuku Omotesando Exit is about ten. FAX 03-3407-7080.
