Rina Banerjee: “You made me leave home…” is a free exhibition at Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo (Louis Vuitton Omotesando Building 7F) through 13 September 2026. It marks 20 years of Espace Louis Vuitton and 10 years of Fondation Louis Vuitton’s Hors-les-murs programme. Hours are 12:00–20:00; closed on the same days as the Omotesando store.
Nineteen works span installation, sculpture and painting. The centrepiece is the roughly 7-metre installation In an unnatural storm a world fertile, fragile and desirous, polluted with excess pollination… (2008), drawn from Jules Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days. Other works, including Black Noodles (2023), use textiles, feathers and found objects to look at migration and colonial leftover materials.
No booking is required. Omotesando Station A1 is about a 3-minute walk. This is the last window to see the show before it closes on 13 September.
