Harajuku Torimachi is a yakitori izakaya brought to life by the renowned Torishiki Ichimon group, which opened its doors in September 2025 along the Omotesando strip. Positioned as a gateway to yakitori culture, the restaurant focuses on beautifully charcoaled chicken skewers, slow-simmered nimoni stews, and fragrant hagama rice cooked in traditional iron pots. The concept makes the art of yakitori approachable without sacrificing craft. The menu spans classic yakitori cuts alongside creative seasonal offerings, all grilled over binchotan charcoal for that signature smoky depth. Bowls of hearty nimoni and freshly cooked hagama rice round out the experience, making it equally suited to a quick lunch set or a lingering evening drinking session. The drink list features a thoughtful selection of sake and shochu to pair with the food. Located on the ground floor of Ares Garden Omotesando, the restaurant is a short walk from both Harajuku and Meiji-jingumae stations. It is a welcoming spot whether you fancy a casual daytime drink or a proper sit-down meal, and the set-menu options make it particularly good value for visitors exploring the area.
