カフィアライム タイレストラン 表参道
表参道すぐの本格的な地元密着タイ料理店。グリーンカレーとランチセットが評判。
Tucked just off Omotesando-dori on the Onden side of Harajuku, Kaffir Lime is a long-standing Thai restaurant that brings the bright, aromatic flavours of Bangkok to one of Tokyo's most fashionable quarters. Seated above the Southeast Asian eatery Chao Bamboo in the Harajuku Bellpia building, it has earned a loyal following for its properly spiced curries, noodle dishes and grill plates. The 55-seat dining room is relaxed and unfussy, a welcome contrast to the designer boutiques nearby. The menu covers the Thai canon, including green curry, tom yum noodle soup, minced chicken stir-fries and glass noodle tsumen, with lunch sets that include soup, salad and rice. Portions are generous and the kitchen does not shy away from heat, satisfying both Thai-food novices and seasoned spice seekers. Dine-in is the norm, with reservations accepted, and credit cards and electronic payments are welcome. For a satisfying, reasonably priced Thai meal in the heart of Harajuku, Kaffir Lime is a dependable neighbourhood favourite. Its straightforward cooking and central location make it an easy, flavourful stop on any Omotesando wander.
