About This Event / イベントについて
China Festival 2026 Yoyogi occupies Yoyogi Park Event Plaza, the outdoor stage and the zelkova avenue on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026, 10:00–20:00. The organiser has staged the festival since 2017 as a Japan–China cultural exchange. Admission is free. Rain or shine; cancelled only in severe weather. An opening ceremony is planned around 11:00 on 5 September.
Expect Chinese food stalls, a music / C-POP stage, Chinese tea, hanfu try-on and other cultural booths. Food is paid at each stall; bring cash as well as cards. The park is a 10-minute walk from JR Harajuku (Omotesando exit) or Meiji-Jingumae exits 1–2.
Namaste India uses the same lawn three weeks later (26–27 September). This weekend is the quieter of the two autumn food festivals in the park.
