ボネラン（Bonélan）

Bonelan is a casual French-Japanese bistro on the fourth floor of the GYRE building at 5-10-1 Jingumae, three minutes from Meiji-jingumae Station. The food direction comes from Ryota Shinda, who trained in Paris and served as sous-chef at the Michelin-starred Ginza restaurant Esquisse. The room is filled with greenery, giving it a jungle-like feel, and the menu is built around seasonal French technique with Japanese touches. The menu offers prix fixe courses and a la carte dishes, with highlights such as vegetable terrine, seafood poele and duck confit, plus a noted miso-glazed black cod. Offcuts are used for consomme, reflecting a no-waste ethos, and the kitchen offers photogenic birthday plates on request. Lunch courses start from an approachable price point, and hours run from 11:00 to 21:00, closed Mondays. It suits couples, small groups and anyone wanting a refined but relaxed Omotesando meal.
