A quiet, wifi-equipped work cafe blending specialty coffee with a showroom feel.

Dotcom Space is a minimalist cafe-workspace in the basement of the Erindale Jingumae building at 1-19-19, two minutes from Harajuku Station. Designed by Keiji Ashizawa, the room doubles as a showroom where visitors can try the company's technologies, so the look is clean and considered rather than typical coffee shop. It has become a popular hideaway for locals wanting a calm spot to work, read or meet.

The menu runs to specialty coffee, toast breakfasts and light bites, with free wifi and power outlets throughout the spacious floor area. Opening hours are 12:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and 11:00 to 18:00 on weekends, with last orders at 17:30. The atmosphere is quiet by Tokyo standards, making it ideal for remote work or a slow coffee between shopping stops. It suits freelancers, students and coffee lovers seeking a calmer Harajuku corner.

Orders are taken at the counter, with seating spread across the open basement room. Instagram: @dotcomspacetokyo
