A Brittany-inspired creperie on Cat Street, serving authentic galettes, sweet crepes and cider.
La Fée Délice is a long-standing creperie tucked down a side street off Cat Street, bringing the spirit of a Brittany country kitchen to the heart of Harajuku. Opened nearly 20 years ago, it predates the wave of French-inspired cafes that followed, and its deep red, mimosa-toned interior, dressed with vintage French antiques collected by the owner in Brittany, creates an atmosphere often compared to the film Amelie. The focus is on authentic galettes and sweet crepes, made with the care of a true creperie. The galettes use buckwheat batter in the Breton tradition, with the classic La Complete combining ham, cheese and egg, while sweet crepes and a rotating selection of appetisers and soups round out the menu. Cider, the natural partner to galettes in France, is a fixture of the drinks list. The intimate garden seating and cosy dining room make it ideal for a leisurely lunch, a romantic dinner or a sweet afternoon pause, with dine-in available throughout the day. For a genuine taste of Brittany in one of Tokyo's most charming backstreets, La Fée Délice remains a beloved, characterful choice. Its two decades of galette-making and warm, eclectic interior make every visit feel like a small escape to rural France.Operating Hours
