Omotesando Chachanoma, also styled Chacha no Ma, is a Japanese tea cafe at 5-13-14 Jingumae, about five minutes' walk from Meiji-jingumae Station. The owner hand-selects the teas, and a tea barista brews each cup at the counter, guiding guests through the aroma and character of every variety. The shop opened to bring carefully sourced Japanese tea to the Omotesando area and has built a loyal following since.

The menu pairs brewed sencha and other teas with seasonal sweets, Japanese tea-based desserts and, in warmer months, matcha shaved ice served from mid-afternoon. The room is calm and relaxing, with the staff happy to explain each tea's origin. Opening hours run Friday to Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00, so it is very much an afternoon stop. It suits tea lovers, curious travellers and anyone wanting a slower, more thoughtful break from Harajuku's bustle.

Walk-ins are welcome, though the limited hours mean arriving early in the afternoon is wise. Official: https://matcha-jp.com/en/3963
