A specialist shio ramen shop on Omotesando, known for its clear, delicately seasoned salt-based broth.
Oreryu Shio Ramen Omotesando focuses on one thing and does it exceptionally well: shio ramen, the lighter, salt-seasoned counterpart to the richer tonkotsu and miso styles more commonly found across Tokyo. The broth is clear and deeply savoury, built from a carefully simmered chicken and seafood base that lets the natural umami shine through without heaviness. Each bowl is finished with thin, straight noodles that hold their bite, topped with neatly arranged slices of chashu pork, a seasoned egg and fresh herbs that add brightness to every spoonful. The menu is compact, with a handful of variations on the signature shio bowl alongside gyoza and rice sides, reflecting a kitchen confident in its core offering rather than trying to cover too much ground.
The shop is situated at the Harajuku end of Omotesando, making it a convenient stop between browsing the avenue's designer boutiques and exploring Takeshita Street. Counter seating means service is swift, though a short queue at peak times is common. Cash payment is typically preferred.

Ordered the creamy ramen, it was really tasteless. I would really not recommend this place, waste of calories.

Absolutely delicious ramen and at a very reasonable price! Been here four times now and honestly it has become my go-to spot for lunch or dinner.

You can order by a machine, the ramen is great! Hot as hell, too. There are a lot of spices you can use to make it suit your taste even further.

Very good ramen, large portions, value for money, not greasy, with vegetables, doctor as you like with the sauces on the table. Only 1000 yen for a lot of food.

I really did not expect to find such a high quality ramen bar like that. The karaage/gyoza and ramen deals are of excellent price value and taste. I would definitely recommend to go if you're very hungry and have a ramen tooth.
