The 49th Shibuya-ku Kumin no Hiroba Furusato Shibuya Festival occupies Yoyogi Park Event Plaza, the outdoor stage, park paths, the ball field, and the basketball court on Saturday 7 November and Sunday 8 November 2026. The official site is shibuya-fes.online. Organiser: Shibuya-ku Kumin no Hiroba Executive Committee. Co-organisers: Shibuya City and the Shibuya Board of Education. Tokyo Metropolitan Government is listed as supporter. The Yoyogi Park calendar theme for this edition is 渋谷に集まれ！ここは多彩な文化のスクランブルマルシェ. The first Saturday and Sunday of November have been the slot since 1978. This is a ward residents festival in the park west of Harajuku station. It is not a Takeshita Street sale.
Saturday parade starts 09:30 from the Yoyogi Park ball field. Traffic around the park is restricted 09:30 to 12:00. Toei, Hachiko, and Keio buses detour or stop. Read the PDFs on the official parade page the morning you go. The same page says Paris 2024 fencing, wheelchair rugby, para badminton, and boccia athletes join this year, and that there is no street parade through the neighbourhood this year. Stay inside the park if you came for the march. Enjoy Tokyo and Yukoyuko list the grounds 10:00 to 16:00. The official homepage confirms the two dates and Event Plaza. Stamp and event_stage pages on the same domain still show leftover 1 to 2 November copy from the previous edition. The homepage can still flash a 2 November parade-cancellation notice. Admission is free. Food and goods at stalls cost extra. Enjoy Tokyo lists Akita dogs, ponies, a mini shinkansen, ice sculpture, and a stamp rally among the family blocks. Treat those as last year’s pattern until the 2026 stage PDF is current. Do not quote leftover YouTube Live dates of 5 to 6 November. No car park and no bike park on site. JR Harajuku about 3 minutes, Metro Yoyogi-koen about 3, Meiji-jingumae about 3, Odakyu Yoyogi-Hachiman about 6. Walk from Harajuku or Yoyogi-koen. Do not drive. Meiji Jingu sits next door and keeps its own hours. Earth Garden and other paid festivals use the same Event Plaza on other weekends. This one is free and ward-run. If you only have Saturday, take the 09:30 parade and leave before the 12:00 road restriction lifts if you hate the bus mess. If you only have Sunday, the grounds still run 10:00 to 16:00 without the parade. Stage order for 2026 is still thin.
