About This Event / イベントについて
JAZZ FESTIVAL in Yoyogi park 2026 is Tuesday 3 November, Culture Day, 11:00–15:00 on the Central Lawn. The Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association posted it on 14 August 2026. Free. No booking. Bring a sheet. The grass is the seat.
Five sets, each about 30 minutes: 11:10, 12:00, 12:50, 13:40, 14:30. A is Yazaki Eri Trio (Yazaki Eri, voice; Nakamura Muneto, guitar; Tashiro Taku, bass). B is Shima Yusuke Duo (trumpet, flugel, flute, with Nakamura on guitar). The park also puts up a panel show on Yoyogi’s sixty years, including a 1921 bird’s-eye view. Bad weather cancels. The park X is the notice. Service centre: 03-3469-6081.
3 November is also Meiji Jingu’s example festival, with yabusame at 13:00 on Nishi-sando. Different gate. Central Lawn is inside the park, not the shrine forest and not the Event Plaza used by Earth Garden. JR Harajuku, Meiji-jingumae, Yoyogi-koen.
